How should I buy my car? US
US CAR BUYING GUIDE

Calculator disclaimer

This is an educational estimate, not a loan offer, credit decision, vehicle valuation or personal financial, tax or legal advice.

Use your real written offers

Example car prices, rates, payments, tax and fees are illustrative. Actual terms depend on the vehicle, location, lender, credit profile and agreement. Review the out-the-door price, contract interest rate, APR, financed fees, rebates and payment schedule in your documents. APR can include certain charges and differ from the contract rate used to estimate payments.

Remaining loan and vehicle value

The remaining loan balance is an estimate, not a lender payoff quote. The future resale value is supplied by you and can change with mileage, condition and market prices. A ±15% range shows the effect of one assumption change; it is not a forecast.

Leases

A lease return assumes the due-at-signing amount includes its first payment, followed by the number of later payments you enter. Mismatched lease and comparison terms remain visible but are not rated. Return charges for mileage, wear or damage may differ from your estimate. Lease buyouts may involve further tax, fees and financing.

Optional savings assumption

A savings rate you enter converts cash flows and the end value or debt to today’s dollars. It assumes that rate is achievable after tax throughout the period, without guarantee. The basic estimated-cost calculation remains visible separately.

Other costs

Unless you include them in entered amounts, results exclude insurance, fuel, repairs, maintenance, early payoff or termination charges and tax differences beyond your written quote. A recommendation reflects only the amounts and preferences entered and does not establish affordability or financing eligibility.
