These terms apply when you access or use How Should I Buy My Car. By using the website, you agree to them.

1. Purpose of the website
The website is an educational planning tool. It helps users compare possible ways of paying for a car using information and assumptions entered into the calculator. It does not arrange finance, make lending decisions, value vehicles or recommend a regulated financial product.

Results are general information, not personal financial, legal, tax or investment advice. A high rating or recommendation means only that an option scored more strongly under the calculator’s stated assumptions and your selected preferences. It is not a statement that the option is affordable, suitable or available to you.
3. Your information and assumptions
You are responsible for checking all figures you enter. Prefilled rates and payments are illustrative only. Actual quotations may contain fees, conditions or payment timings not captured by the calculator. You should obtain written quotations and read the provider’s pre-contract information and agreement before making a decision.
4. Accuracy and availability
We aim to explain the calculations clearly, but we do not guarantee that the website, results or content will always be complete, accurate, current or available. Estimated resale values, interest calculations and outstanding balances can differ from real-world values and lender settlement figures.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the website for personal, lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, misrepresent its results as a lender quotation or use its content in a misleading or unlawful way.
